AnnuitySpecs.com started as the dream of a market research analyst, working for an insurance company specializing in indexed insurance products. While handling daily competitive intelligence issues, it became apparent that there was no single source for Indexed Annuity data that was timely, accurate, and easy to find.

Resources for the product line were few and far-between, unlike the fixed and variable counterparts. What resources were available were not updated, were inaccurate, or difficult to work with.
